An Otherworldly Discovery: Billions of Other Planets

Astronomers said Wednesday that each of the 100 billion stars in the Milky Way probably has at least one companion planet, on average, adding credence to the notion that planets are as common in the cosmos as grains of sand on the beach.

Carrying on with this new year tradition, here’s a new round of predictions for 2012 and beyond. Before you read these, keep in mind that while these are primarily “negative” predictions, there will always be a positive backlash in terms of the awakening of the People who need to be shaken back to reality in order to do three things:
1) Realize what’s coming.

Prof Stephen Hawking: man faces nuclear armageddon and must colonise space

“It is possible that the human race could become extinct but it is not inevitable. I think it is almost certain that a disaster, such as nuclear war or global warming, will befall the earth within a thousands years,” Professor Hawking, the Cambridge University cosmologist and theoretical physicist said.

“It is essential that we colonise space. I believe that we will eventually establish self-sustaining colonies on Mars, and other bodies in the solar system, although probably not within the next 100 years.”
