“Did the Internet cause BP’s Deepwater Horizon disaster? No, but porn did provide an unwelcome distraction for the regulators at the U.S. Department of Interior’s Minerals Management Service who oversee offshore oil drilling.
“Employees also attended sporting events sponsored by oil and gas production companies, and were treated to lunches and free gifts, according to a report by the U.S. Department of the Interior’s inspector general Tuesday. Two employees admitted using illegal drugs, including meth.”
I’ve been a blogger for several years, whatever that means, and in turn I’ve jumped around from a lot of different blogs and social networking sites. Here are 3 things I’ve written which I believe to be a little under-appreciated and hidden relics.
First off, RANDOM CHAOS from my LIVE JOURNAL page which is rarely updated these days. There are 100’s of cool links posted in this section, with “late breaking news”. Give it a look when you’re bored with an open mind.
Secondly, why not check out the creepy and kooky MOONSTAR’S MAYHEM AND MASTERPIECE DRIVE IN THEATER when you need a little, good old fashion, horror and sci-fi fix? Ahhh, my favorite alter ego!
And last but not least, check out MYTHS FROM THE VAULT, also at the Live Journal page. It was a rundown of monsters throughout the history of religion, mythology, folklore. A very interesting collection. You might have to dig a little deeper here to find the prize…
Who knows, maybe one day I’ll revive these experiments. They are the 3 “lost” internet collections I’d most like to find the time to update…
