Mass Cannibalism, Slaughter, or Both?
Was it mass cannibalism, ritual slaughter or both? Archaeologists who unearthed the remains of 500 Stone Age corpses in the German town of Herxheim say the meat was cut off their bones as if they were livestock. One conclusion is that the people were eaten — after volunteering to be sacrificed.

Just reposting this for my online buddy Mac Tonnies, of POSTHUMAN BLUES, who passed away last October at the age of 34. His parents are donating images that Mac drew when he was a youngster, obsessed with UFO’s and aliens even then. Tonnies remains one of the most down to earth and realistic explorers of the “UFO enigma” I’ve so far found. Ancient Roman Gladiator Cemetery Discovered
Archaeologists have ultimately come to a conclusion and on Sunday announced that the 80 skeletons that they have dug out from under the city of York, northern England since 2003 were the remains of gladiators and the place is believed to be the ‘unique’ cemetery of the ancient gladiators around 1,800 years ago.
