A Compendium of 150 Monty Python Sketches

“My wife requested that I post a particular Monty Python skit on the site. Well, posting just one Python video is right out!

“No, here at One Man’s Institute for the Exceptional Documentation of Silly Time Wasting Videos we have a rule that one shall post no fewer than 150 videos – and the number of videos posted shall be 150.”

So It Begins…

… The live action/computer animated THE SMURFS movie began filming this week for a 2011 release. It’s a planned trilogy, which could easily suck, especially if they wanna charge more for 3D (total bullshit!). When it comes down to it we all know that the uber-popular AVATAR was just a SMURFS for adults.

However I am pleased that the legendary Jonathan Winters will be the voice of Papa Smurf, and that lovely Jayma Mays has been added to the cast (she is mega-cute)! Would have been cool if Tarantino got the role of Brainy Smurf. If it does turn in to a trilogy, how much you wanna bet (or hope!) that the PURPLE SMURF’S SAGA makes it to the big screen?! G’NAP!

On a related note, I’m wondering if POWER OF THE DARK CRYSTAL will ever be released. No matter how much CGI thrown in you’ve got to stay somewhat true to the original feel, and it’ll be interesting to see if puppets are too ‘old school’ for today’s theater goers.

50 Sexiest Actresses of the Last 20 Years

“Who are today’s temptresses? Who are the women that make audiences feel like they’ve taken a walk on the wild side? Stick around and you’ll find out. Here is the first installment (50 to 31) of VH1.com’s 50 sexiest actresses list.”

Top 13 Horror Movie Sequels

“Sequels suck. At least that’s what Scream 2 said, but then again Scream 2 isn’t good enough to make this list. This week marks the release of H2, the sequel to Rob Zombie’s abysmal attempt to remake/re-imagine/justify ruining Halloween, and while he’s got a pretty good track record with sequels (The Devil’s Rejects just barely squeaked into the Top Thirteen) we thought we’d take the time to remind audiences that sequels can be classics too. Whether these films were better than the original (some were), re-invented the franchise (some did) or are simply entertaining films in their own right (they all are), here are a few cinematic delicacies to cleanse your palette, in case H2 leaves a bad taste in your mouth.”
