Although wave photography is an established genre of photography, almost all snappers are shooting in the water, inside the barrel. Australian photographer Deb Morris goes beyond photographing the average wave by focusing on the subtle ripples caused by tidal waves that are no higher than 3 to 30 cm. She has dubbed these macro images “micro wave photography”.
