What’s happening to the bedtime story? A study carried out by Common Sense Media has found that children aged between 0 and 8 now spend more than triple the amount of time watching television than reading books, or having stories read to them. The research also looked at the growing use of mobile devices by children.

I’m not anti-technology, but I am a proponent of people READING ACTUAL BOOKS!!! I don’t want to live in a future where paper books become obsolete and kids are plugged into digital media 24/7 so their parents don’t have to pay attention to them….
