The Germanic tribes during the Roman Empire have been, more or less, categorized into the much more well-known groups (Goths, Vandals, etc.) who did manage to burn and sack Rome. The truth is that these “barbarians” were much more diverse and varied; their existence was more fluid than what the textbooks usually tell us. This list offers a glimpse of a few of the lesser-known Germanic tribes, listed as a footnote to the greater and more glorified barbarians that helped push Europe to the middle Ages.

Mysterious, triangle-shaped ‘alien skull’ found in Peru

Peruvian anthropologist Renato Davila Riquelme has discovered the remains of an unidentified creature with a “triangle shaped” skull nearly as large as its 20-inch-tall body.

MRI Scan Of A Female Orgasm?

Little is understood about what actually happens to our brains during orgasm – but a video taken an MRI scanner shows for the first time how many regions of the brain are affected. Scientists say that rather than a few, isolated areas of the brain being affected, the orgasm affects more than 80 brain regions. The scan was taken of Nan Wise, a 54-year-old sex therapist, who volunteered to sit in an MRI scanner while stimulating herself. Professor Barry Komisaruk, a psychologist at Rutgers University in New Jersey, hopes that the research will help women who find it difficult to orgasm.”
